Italian epic folk metal band ATLAS PAIN have officially returned with the release of their new single, “Light At Last.” Available now on all major streaming platforms, the track arrives alongside an official music video, marking the band’s first new material after an extended period of silence.

Driven by speed, cinematic orchestration, and melodic intensity, “Light At Last” delivers more than four minutes of epic folk metal while exploring deeply personal themes. According to frontman Samuele Faulisi, the song reflects an internal battle with darkness and suffering, while ultimately pointing toward hope and renewal.
“This song was born from the need to give a voice to a silence that has dragged on for too long,” Faulisi explains. “For the first time, the lyrics aim to bring to your ears what I have experienced and what continues to manifest in the present. An inner struggle made of demons, darkness, and suffering, but one that inevitably tends toward the light.”
The single is accompanied by an official music video designed to match the scale and intensity of the song, immersing viewers in the band’s renewed visual identity and emphasizing the epic atmosphere that has become a hallmark of ATLAS PAIN.
“Light At Last” was produced by Davide Tavecchia at Twilight Studio in Senago, Italy, where the band crafted a dense and powerful production that highlights every orchestral and metallic element of the composition.
Formed in Milan in 2013, ATLAS PAIN combine folk and pagan metal with cinematic arrangements and high-energy songwriting. The band previously released What The Oak Left (2017) and Tales Of A Pathfinder (2019) through Scarlet Records, with international distribution by Nuclear Blast, Season of Mist, and other major outlets.
Over the years, ATLAS PAIN have toured extensively across Europe, performing in Germany, France, Spain, and Portugal, while appearing at festivals including Ragnarok Festival in Germany and Portugal’s Milagre Metaleiro, where they performed as co-headliners in 2018.
