BABYMETAL and Slaughter to Prevail Drop Massive Collab Single “Song 3”

Japanese kawaii metal icons BABYMETAL have teamed up with Russian deathcore band Slaughter to Prevail for their explosive new single “Song 3,” released today. The track, featuring Alex Terrible’s guttural vocals, premiered with a music video on YouTube, blending BABYMETAL’s J-pop-infused metal with Slaughter to Prevail’s brutal intensity. Fans describe it as a “Godzilla-sized collab,” with a comic intro showing BABYMETAL summoning Alex to battle a bear, amplifying the song’s chaotic energy.

“Song 3” is part of BABYMETAL’s upcoming album Metal Forth, out June 13, 2025, via Capitol Records, featuring global collaborators like Poppy, Spiritbox and Bloodywood. Pre-order at babymetal.lnk.to/MetalForth, and learn more at metalforth.com. The band—Su-metal, Moametal, and Momometal—kicks off their European arena tour on May 30 in London, followed by a North American run starting June 13 in Houston.
