Finnish melodic death metal band Before The Dawn have released their third single, Stellar Effect, from their ninth studio album, Cold Flare Eternal, set for release on September 5, 2025, via Reaper Entertainment. Cold Flare Eternal, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Juho Räihä at Soundspiral Audio in Ulvila, Finland, with additional mixing by Jens Bogren and mastering by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios, features artwork by Gogo Melone. The album’s tracklist includes:

Before The Dawn, formed in 1999 in Nastola, Finland, consists of Tuomas Saukkonen (guitar, vocals), Juho Räihä (guitar), Pyry Hanski (bass), and Paavo Laapotti (vocals). Following their 2023 album Stormbringers, the band continues to deliver a blend of heavy riffs, melodic hooks, and atmospheric depth.
The band will promote Cold Flare Eternal with a Finnish headline tour,and they will join Wolfheart on a European fall tour from September 20 to October 13, 2025, with support from Suotana and Full House Brew Crew, visiting cities including Madrid, Paris, and Prague.
