“Threshold Of Hell” delivers a potent mix of crushing riffs, commanding groove, and dark atmosphere, elevated by the unmistakable guest appearance from Fernando Ribeiro.
Guitarist Dani Arcos comments:
“I think it’s the most complete song on the album. We worked really hard on it, both musically and in terms of sound effects, the collaboration with Fernando Ribeiro… and it also has a great groove.”
Vocalist Diva Satánica adds:
“It’s an anti-war song that dissects the mysteries of human behaviour and how it seems we didn’t evolve at all, making the same mistakes of the past. We wanted to emphasize this contradiction… so we created our own military march shaking some spoons inside of a cooking pot.”
Produced by Tue Madsen, Sons Of The Abandoned marks a bold evolution for the band, diving deep into themes of identity, vulnerability, and personal struggle while expanding their sonic range. Blending ferocity with melody and atmosphere, the album showcases BLOODHUNTER at their most dynamic and introspective to date.
