Swedish melodic metallers REXORIA have unveiled their powerful new single “Heart of Sorrow”, featuring Johnny Gioeli (known for Axel Rudi Pell and Hardline). The track is taken from their upcoming fourth studio album Fallen Dimension, due out May 8 via Black Lodge Records.
“Heart of Sorrow” – A Cinematic Power Ballad
“Heart of Sorrow” leans into the band’s melodic strengths, delivering a sweeping power ballad built on heavy guitars and emotional intensity. The duet between frontwoman Frida and Gioeli is the centerpiece: his gritty, raspy tone contrasts with her soaring, clean delivery, creating a dynamic push and pull that drives the song’s impact.
The accompanying music video embraces a cinematic style, reinforcing the song’s emotional weight with strong visual storytelling and a refined aesthetic direction.
New Album: Fallen Dimension
Set for release on May 8, Fallen Dimension marks a confident evolution of REXORIA’s “Royal Metal” identity. The album blends:
• Towering, hook-driven choruses
• Thematic storytelling (war, society, introspection)
• High-energy anthems alongside emotional ballads
The record was mixed and mastered by Jonas Kjellgren, known for his work with Sabaton, Bloodbound, and Dynazty.
Notably, the album includes two standout duets:
• “Dominion” featuring Mike Andersson (Tungsten)
• “Heart of Sorrow” featuring Johnny Gioeli
