BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE have announced their eighth studio album, Social Apocalypse, arriving March 19, 2027 via Spinefarm. The band have also unveiled the album’s title track and accompanying music video, marking their first new song in four years.
Produced by longtime collaborator Carl Bown, Social Apocalypse finds BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE examining a rapidly changing world defined by division, conflict and uncertainty, while also turning inward toward the personal impact of living through it.
“Everything in life is changing at such a rapid pace, and it is hard to find a great deal of positivity when you look at events in the world,” frontman Matt Tuck explains. “People are being pitted against each other. The world is full of conflict instead of unity. As a father, I look at what the world is like for younger people, and how completely different it is now.”
That perspective drives the newly released title track, “Social Apocalypse,” which sees Tuck confronting what he describes as “the end of the world as we know it” as the band introduces the themes at the heart of the forthcoming record.
The album once again pairs BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE with Bown, who has worked across four of the band’s albums and has also collaborated with artists including SLEEP TOKEN, WHILE SHE SLEEPS and MALEVOLENCE.
“Carl doesn’t let you settle,” Tuck says. “He is always ready to speak up, push and challenge you to be the best version of you.”
Social Apocalypse will also feature two guest appearances, something relatively uncommon on BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE records. AGAINST THE CURRENT vocalist Chrissy Costanza joins the band on “In The Absence Of You,” while LORNA SHORE frontman Will Ramos appears on “I Don’t Trust Tomorrow.”

A highly limited white-label first pressing of the album is available to pre-order for 72 hours through Ceremony of Roses. A wider selection of physical editions will follow on September 28, including standard and deluxe vinyl variants and a signed CD.
Alongside the album announcement, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE have revealed a major UK and European headline tour for early 2027. PENDULUM will appear as special guests across the entire run, with DARK DIVINE opening the shows.
The tour begins January 21 in Lisbon and travels throughout Europe before concluding with a series of UK arena dates in Glasgow, Birmingham, London and Manchester. The London date will see BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE return to The O2 as the sole headliner after previously selling out the venue during their co-headlining run with TRIVIUM.
Tickets for the tour go on sale September 30 at 9 a.m.
Social Apocalypse follows BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE’s 2021 self-titled seventh studio album and represents what the band describes as a combination of the different elements that have defined their career while pushing toward new territory.
