The official trailer and complete performance lineup for OZZY & BLACK SABBATH: BACK TO THE BEGINNING have been revealed, with tickets now on sale for the concert film’s worldwide theatrical release on October 28.
Presented by Trafalgar Releasing and Mercury Studios, the film captures Ozzy Osbourne’s final performance and the last-ever show by the original BLACK SABBATH lineup, documenting the historic Back To The Beginning concert held July 5, 2025 at Villa Park in Birmingham, England.
The hometown farewell reunited Osbourne with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward, bringing the original BLACK SABBATH lineup together onstage for the first time in more than 20 years.
The sold-out event drew more than three million ticket requests for approximately 44,000 available seats and assembled an extraordinary collection of artists to celebrate the music and legacy of Ozzy and BLACK SABBATH.
Alongside Ozzy and Sabbath, the event featured performances from METALLICA, SLAYER, PANTERA, TOOL, GUNS N’ ROSES, GOJIRA, ANTHRAX, ALICE IN CHAINS, LAMB OF GOD, MASTODON, HALESTORM and RIVAL SONS.
Several all-star performances also brought together musicians including Tom Morello, Steven Tyler, Ronnie Wood, Billy Corgan, Sammy Hagar, YUNGBLUD, Nuno Bettencourt, K.K. Downing, David Draiman, Jake E. Lee, David Ellefson, Travis Barker, Chad Smith, Vernon Reid, Rudy Sarzo, Andrew Watt and others.
The two-hour-and-30-minute theatrical presentation combines performances from the concert with behind-the-scenes footage and reflections from musicians influenced by Ozzy and BLACK SABBATH. The film also includes insight from event host Jason Momoa and musical director Tom Morello.
Speaking about the significance of the show, METALLICA frontman James Hetfield said:

YUNGBLUD described the experience as an “absolute fever dream,” while Billy Corgan reflected on recognizing the historical significance of the event as it was happening.
The newly confirmed track listing demonstrates the scale of the celebration, mixing Sabbath and Ozzy classics performed by the artists they influenced with Ozzy’s farewell set and BLACK SABBATH’s final four-song performance.
