Colorado deathcore band CROWN MAGNETAR has unleashed a new single, “Shut Up and Bleed,” taken from the band’s forthcoming third full-length, The Hollowing Of Godflesh, due September 25 via Unique Leader Records.
Accompanied by an official music video, “Shut Up and Bleed” delivers a groove-heavy dose of rhythmic punishment while continuing the increasingly brutal death metal influence running through CROWN MAGNETAR’s latest material.
Vocalist Dan Tucker explains the track’s gruesome concept:
“Corruption made permanent. A corrupt entity is condemned within its own form. Its hollow interior filled and hardened until flesh becomes a living tomb. Unable to move, unable to die, it remains conscious and imprisoned in the exact moment of agony. A being with no escape and no reprieve. Shut up and bleed.”
The Hollowing Of Godflesh represents what Tucker describes as the most complete version of CROWN MAGNETAR to date, pushing the band’s trademark intensity into heavier and more atmospheric territory.
“The Hollowing of Godflesh is the most complete representation of Crown Magnetar we’ve ever put together,” Tucker says. “We pushed every aspect of our songwriting further without losing the intensity and rawness that defines the band.”
The album also marks the recorded debut of guitarist Rob Maramonte, whose résumé includes time with Fallujah and The Zenith Passage as well as live performances with Thy Art Is Murder and All Shall Perish. His technical death metal background adds another dimension to the band’s already relentless approach.
Influenced by brutal death metal acts including Suffocation, Dying Fetus, Putridity, Brodequin and Defeated Sanity alongside deathcore staples such as The Red Shore, I Declare War and Thy Art Is Murder, The Hollowing Of Godflesh further blurs the line between technical brutality, crushing grooves and breakdown-driven deathcore.
The album follows CROWN MAGNETAR’s 2025 Punishment EP and features previously released singles “Desecrate Infinite,” “Impaled Genesis” and “Godkiller.”

The album once again features production from bassist Michael Sahm, who has worked behind the desk on the band’s previous releases.
CROWN MAGNETAR will support the record with an extensive touring schedule beginning September 17. The band will co-headline The Sawed Off Suffering Tour alongside To The Grave, with Face Yourself providing support and I Declare War, Ameonna, Tracheotomy, Backbiter and Squelching appearing on select dates.
The run includes a Florida stop at The Banyan Live in West Palm Beach on October 4, with Tracheotomy among the support acts for that leg.
Less than a week after completing the North American tour, CROWN MAGNETAR will head overseas as direct support for Archspire’s European Vacation Tour, alongside The Zenith Passage and Analepsy. The European trek begins October 23 in Köln, Germany and runs through November 21 in Helsinki, Finland.
