DIRKSCHNEIDER & THE OLD GANG have unveiled a new music video for “Batter The Power”, taken from their latest album Babylon, released in October 2025 via RPM.
Following the strong reception of earlier singles “It Takes Two To Tango” and “Hellbreaker”, both of which surpassed one million views, the band continue their visual campaign with this classic heavy metal anthem.
Built on a driving a true-metal riff, “Batter The Power” delivers an instantly memorable sing-along chorus that channels the spirit of old-school heavy metal. The track gains added intensity through the confrontational vocal exchanges between Udo Dirkschneider and Peter Baltes, while Manuela “Ella” Bibert elevates the final choruses with striking solo vocal passages. Guitarist Mathias Dieth tops it off with a fearless, free-form solo that perfectly reflects the band’s no-rules attitude.
Lyrically, the song leans into classic metal themes of battle, resistance, and liberation, driven by lines like “we’ll die to be free” and “never surrender”, reinforcing its call to challenge oppressive power in pursuit of freedom and justice.
