Dishumane Sign With Blood Harvest Records, Announce Debut EP Centurion’s Demise

Underground death metal band Dishumane have officially signed with Blood Harvest Records, who will release the band’s debut EP Centurion’s Demise on August 7, 2026 in CD, vinyl, and cassette formats.

Built around guitarist James Shanks, the project evolved gradually over several years after initially beginning under the name Sadistic Malevolence. The band took shape through Shanks’ collaboration with drummer Dave Procopio before eventually expanding to include notable extreme metal veterans including Incantation drummer Charlie Koryn, who also plays with Ascended Dead, and bassist Chuck Sherwood, formerly of Incantation.

The resulting four-track EP delivers fifteen minutes of uncompromising old-school death metal inspired by genre staples such as Immolation, Morpheus Descends, Deicide, Gorgasm, and Incantation.

According to the label, Dishumane are not attempting to reinvent death metal so much as sharpen and intensify its classic form into something vicious and crushing.

The EP’s title track, “Centurion’s Demise”, is now streaming via Bandcamp.

Centurion’s Demise Track Listing

  1. Conquering the Forlorn
  2. Centurion’s Demise
  3. Soul Spun Malice
  4. Loom of Souls

With Centurion’s Demise, Dishumane position themselves squarely within the lineage of classic 1990s death metal while hinting at a heavier and more expansive debut full-length still to come.
