DOGMA have released their new single, “My Matricidal,” accompanied by an ambitious music video that continues the narrative introduced in the band’s previous release, “Fate Unblinds.”
The new track showcases the band’s signature fusion of hard rock and metal, combining aggressive guitar work, ritualistic percussion, cinematic atmospheres, and soaring vocal performances. The song builds steadily toward a dramatic climax while exploring themes of truth, recognition, and personal transformation.
According to vocalist Lilith, “My Matricidal” is less about betrayal and more about confronting reality when long-held beliefs can no longer withstand the truth. She explains that the song focuses on the choices people make after facing uncomfortable revelations, whether they respond with denial, anger, or growth.
The accompanying music video expands the band’s ongoing storyline, offering new insights into the world established in “Fate Unblinds” while raising additional questions about the narrative’s larger mystery.
The release follows a successful first half of 2026 for DOGMA, during which the band completed its largest European and Latin American touring cycle to date. Every European headlining performance sold out, including shows in London, Manchester, Wolverhampton, Bristol, Eindhoven, Hamburg, and Munich.
This summer, DOGMA will return to Europe for appearances at several major festivals, including Copenhell, Basinfire, Tuska, Rockharz, Rock Imperium, and Resurrection Fest, in addition to a special headlining performance in Istanbul.
