Swedish symphonic metal band ELEINE have released their new single, “Watch As We Rise,” alongside an official music video and the announcement of their fifth studio album, The Water Taste Of Blood, due out December 4 through the band’s own Algoth Records with worldwide distribution by Sound Pollution.
The new track serves as the third single from the upcoming album, following “Empire of Lies” and “We March.” According to the band, “Watch As We Rise” represents the climax of the story established by the previous singles, portraying resilience and reclaiming control after adversity.
Described as the heaviest song released from the album so far, “Watch As We Rise” features crushing riffs and aggressive vocals while delivering a message of determination and perseverance.
In a statement, ELEINE said:

“This is our song of reclaiming control of your own life. We’ve been through so much over the past years. Buried under one pile after the other. ‘Watch As We Rise’ is a releasing song that fills you with power and determination through heavy chugging and in your face vocals.”
Alongside the new single, the band unveiled the artwork for The Water Taste Of Blood, which will mark ELEINE’s fifth full-length studio release.

To support the album, ELEINE will embark on their largest headline tour to date, performing more than 30 shows across 12 European countries and the United Kingdom beginning in October. The tour will conclude with an exclusive album release show on December 5 in Lund, Sweden.
Formed in southern Sweden, ELEINE, led by vocalist Madeleine Liljestam and guitarist/vocalist Rikard Ekberg, has built an international following through extensive touring and a string of successful releases, including a No. 1 album on the Swedish sales charts. The band has previously toured with ARCH ENEMY, KAMELOT, PAIN, SONATA ARCTICA, and W.A.S.P., while continuing to expand its own headline presence throughout Europe.
