ENTHEOS have unveiled the official music video for “Hell Is A Part Of Me,” a track from their latest studio album, Empty On The Inside, available now through Metal Blade Records. Directed by Malcolm Pugh, the video accompanies a song that explores self-acceptance, personal struggles, and the importance of acknowledging the darker aspects of human nature.
The track combines heavy guitar riffs, melodic choruses, and aggressive breakdowns, reflecting the band’s evolving approach to songwriting as they incorporate more accessible melodic elements into their established technical metal sound.
Speaking about the meaning behind “Hell Is A Part Of Me,” vocalist Chaney Crabb explained:
“‘Hell is A Part of Me’ is about taking ownership of your own darkness. It’s about acknowledging those parts of yourself rather than pretending they don’t exist. So much of life can make people feel like they need to hide their darker side in order to be worthy of acceptance, but this song pushes against that idea.”
Crabb continued by emphasizing that acknowledging personal struggles does not mean allowing them to define one’s identity.
“It’s about understanding that pain can be something that you acknowledge within yourself, but it doesn’t define who you are. For us this song feels like a statement and really encompasses the spirit of our band as a whole with catchy riffs, anthemic choruses and a heavy breakdown.”
The video follows the previously released visuals for “Golden Crown” and “Undone,” offering another look at the musical direction explored throughout Empty On The Inside.
A New Chapter for ENTHEOS
With Empty On The Inside, ENTHEOS continue expanding beyond the progressive and technical death metal foundations of their earlier releases, incorporating alternative metal influences, industrial textures, and a greater emphasis on melodic songwriting.
The album features vocalist Chaney Crabb, who also provides the voice of Jill Valentine in the video game Dead by Daylight, alongside multi-instrumentalist Navene Koperweis, formerly of ANIMALS AS LEADERS and ANIMOSITY.
Guitarists Scott Carstairs of FALLUJAH and Michael Stancel of ALLEGAEON also contribute to the record, bringing additional musical perspectives to the band’s arrangements.
The album was produced by Mark Lewis, whose credits include THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, FALLUJAH, and WHITECHAPEL, and mastered by Justin Sturtz at Sterling Sound. Artwork was created by Zac Shiffer, who has worked with NINE INCH NAILS, BEHEMOTH, and SOUNDGARDEN.
Across ten tracks, Empty On The Inside balances the band’s technical musicianship with a more direct approach to song structures, incorporating clean vocals, prominent choruses, and atmospheric arrangements without abandoning their heavier elements.
The record also includes a guest appearance from Michael Lessard on “Tomblight.”

Empty On The Inside is available digitally, on CD, and in several vinyl configurations through Metal Blade Records
The vinyl editions include Bloodlust Red, Grey with Black Splatter, Neon Green and Yellow Marble, Green and Blue Marble, White with Red Splatter, Neon Pink with Black Dust, and a band-exclusive Fluorescent Pink variant.
All vinyl editions are packaged in gatefold jackets with inserts.
North American Tour With TESSERACT
ENTHEOS will return to the road in January 2027 as support for TESSERACT on an extensive North American tour, with SUNBORN also appearing on the bill.
The tour begins January 7 at Irving Plaza in New York City and concludes January 31 at Summit Music Hall in Denver, Colorado.
The itinerary includes performances in Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Baltimore, Charlotte, Atlanta, Orlando, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and several additional cities.
Florida fans will have an opportunity to catch the tour on January 16 at The Beacham in Orlando.
