ESOTERIK Unleash Their Heaviest Transmission Yet With New Single “Honesty”

Alternative industrial-metal duo ESOTERIK have released their new single “Honesty,” described by the band as their heaviest material to date. The track is available now via Trisol Music Group alongside a cinematic official music video.

Following their recent single “No Absolutes,” “Honesty” pushes ESOTERIK deeper into aggressive territory, combining low-tuned guitars, driving percussion, and brooding electronic textures with the duo’s industrial foundation.

The single represents another step toward the band’s forthcoming album, Nü Skin, which marks ESOTERIK’s transition further into the metal world.

Surrender, Perspective, and Internal Conflict

At its core, “Honesty” explores the moment when resistance gives way to acceptance — not as an act of defeat, but as a shift in perspective and release from self-imposed restraints.

“Musically and lyrically, ‘Honesty’ is the heaviest territory we’ve stepped into yet,” guitarist and producer Brady Bledsoe explains. “It hits the exact moment where the pain has burned off and there’s nothing left to defend. You stop trying to retrace your steps or fix what’s broken — something shifts in perspective and you start to realize it was never broken.”

Vocalist Allison Eckfeldt gives that internal conflict a voice as the song examines the effects of betrayal, self-doubt, and the impossible standards created by an unforgiving inner critic.

The track’s artwork extends those themes through a reinterpretation of The Hanged Man tarot card. It depicts a fox bound to a sword and forced to confront a serpent, drawing from the card’s traditional associations with surrender, suspension, and a reversal in perspective.

“Honesty” Gets a Cinematic Visual

The official “Honesty” video expands the imagery into a dark, surreal environment.

Set largely within a void-like space featuring shallow water and underwater cinematography, the video contrasts images of submerged struggle with the act of finally breaking through the surface.

The visual direction mirrors the track’s progression from internal friction toward surrender and a transformed perspective, while maintaining the dark industrial aesthetic surrounding ESOTERIK’s current era.

Based in the United States, ESOTERIK consists of vocalist Allison Eckfeldt and multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Brady Bledsoe.

Since forming in 2013, the duo have developed a sound built around dark electronic textures and aggressive rock, while touring internationally and finding chart success in Europe.

Their forthcoming album, Nü Skin, represents the next stage of that evolution, with the band moving decisively toward a heavier alternative and industrial-metal sound.
