American rock band Evanescence has released the official music video for their new single Fight Like A Girl, featuring K.Flay, from the upcoming film From the World of John Wick: Ballerina. The video, directed by Chad Stahelski and produced by Louise Rosner, with styling by Marjan Malakpour and hair/makeup by Beth Wilson, is available to watch:
Co-written by Amy Lee, K.Flay, Dylan Eiland, and film composer Tyler Bates, who also produced the track, Fight Like A Girl follows the release of Hand That Feeds, a collaboration between Halsey and Amy Lee for the same film. The song channels the movie’s themes of vengeance, resilience, and empowerment, with lyrics like “Sinner and savior I’ve been walking the line” and “But can you fight like a girl?”. Amy Lee described the collaboration as a “dream come true,” highlighting K.Flay’s contribution, while K.Flay noted writing her verse backstage, inspired by the film’s exploration of pain and self-definition.
Set during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Ballerina stars Ana de Armas as Eve Macarro, training in the Ruska Roma assassin traditions, alongside Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, Ian McShane, and Keanu Reeves. Directed by Len Wiseman, written by Shay Hatten, and produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Chad Stahelski, the film is a Lionsgate presentation with Thunder Road Films and 87eleven Entertainment.
