German death metal veterans FLESHCRAWL have unleashed the crushing new single “Embers of Wrath” alongside an official music video, offering another brutal preview of their upcoming tenth studio album, Epitome of Carnage, arriving June 12, 2026 through Distortion Music Group (DMG) powered by Reigning Phoenix Music.
Centered on the horror, bloodshed, and suffering of warfare, “Embers of Wrath” showcases a slightly different side of the band’s sound. While still rooted in old-school death metal, the track leans into a more mid-tempo and melodic approach. The band describes it as a counterweight to the album’s otherwise especially brutal material, while still preserving the signature blend of Gothenburg-inspired melodies and HM-2-driven aggression that has defined FLESHCRAWL’s identity for decades.
Following seven years after 2019’s Into the Catacombs of Flesh, Epitome of Carnage marks a renewed era for the long-running German quintet. The album delivers twelve tracks of relentless riffs, and dark melodic atmosphere, reaffirming the band’s dedication to uncompromising traditional death metal.

Originally formed in 1987 in Illertissen, Germany, FLESHCRAWL has endured lineup changes, tragedy, and decades of evolution while remaining fiercely committed to authentic death metal. Following the passing of longtime vocalist Sven “Svenson” Gross in 2021 after a battle with cancer, the band recruited vocalist Borisz Sarafutgyinov to continue carrying the torch into a new chapter.
