Draped in shadow and ritual, Boo distills FRAYLE’s signature fusion of atmospheric doom, ethereal gloom, and cinematic witchcraft into one mesmerizing invocation. Vocalist Gwyn Strang channels equal parts sorrow and menace as her spectral voice glides over layers of distorted guitars and ritualistic percussion. The song unfolds as a ghostly confrontation, a warning and a curse, where despair itself speaks back.
The accompanying video, directed with FRAYLE’s trademark gothic surrealism, evokes the feeling of a séance between nightmare and beauty. A slow descent into candlelit dread, Boo feels both intimate and apocalyptic, a lullaby whispered at the end of the world.
“Say my name three times in the mirror… this won’t end well for you, my dear.”
Heretics & Lullabies promises to be FRAYLE’s most immersive and emotionally charged work to date, a spellbinding descent through themes of vengeance, rebirth, and transcendence, echoing through the shadows of doom and dream.
