Italian power metal band FROZEN CROWN have announced their sixth studio album, The Legend of the Six Kings, set for release on October 2 via Napalm Records.
The new record marks a darker and more narrative-driven chapter for the band, expanding their signature blend of soaring power metal, symphonic grandeur, speed metal aggression, and melodic death metal elements. Frontwoman Giada “Jade” Etro embraces a more sinister vocal approach throughout the album, while mastermind Federico Mondelli continues to refine the band’s cinematic songwriting style.

The band comments:
“With our sixth album — our second on Napalm Records — we continue our search for the quintessential FROZEN CROWN tune, distilling the key elements of our sound and style into increasingly concise and straightforward songs, stripping away all unnecessary frills.”
The album continues the storyline first introduced on The Fallen King and draws inspiration from the fantasy worlds of J. R. R. Tolkien and Robert E. Howard, pairing regal fantasy aesthetics with darker brutality.

Among the highlights is the band’s power metal reinterpretation of Iris by Goo Goo Dolls, transforming the 1998 hit into a dramatic, high-energy metal anthem.
The album also introduces new guitarist Aleksandra Stamenkovic, whose old-school shredding style adds another aggressive dimension to the band’s evolving sound.
