Chicago’s metallic hardcore band Harm’s Way has released their new EP Other World today, May 6, 2025, via Metal Blade Records, just ahead of their co-headlining North American tour with Full of Hell. The two-track EP features the title track “Other World,” originally recorded during the 2023 Common Suffering sessions at Studio 4 but remixed by the band for this release, alongside “V.Y.B.S.S.,” a reimagined version of “Wanderer” co-produced with King Yosef. The band describes the EP as a “juxtaposition of who we are creatively, both present and future.” A new video for “Other World” is streaming now, and the EP is available digitally at metalblade.com/harmsway.

EP Tracklist:
- Other World

Harm’s Way—James Pligge (vocals), Bo Lueders (guitars), Nick Gauthier (guitars), Casey Soyk (bass), and Christopher Mills (drums)—kicks off their tour this Saturday, May 10, in Detroit at Lincoln Factory with Converge. Joined by Full of Hell, Kruelty, Jarhead Fertilizer, and Clique, the run includes festival stops at Sonic Temple (May 11) and Welcome to Rockville (May 15), wrapping up June 8 in Toronto at Axis Club. Following their critically acclaimed 2023 album Common Suffering, which blended d-beat brutality, industrial nihilism, and Meshuggah-like polyrhythms, this EP and tour solidify Harm’s Way as a force in heavy music.
