Swedish Viking metal band Havamal has dropped the video for their new single “The Day of Reckoning,” the first track from their upcoming album Age of the Gods, set for release on November 21, 2025, via Art Gates Records.
Formed in 2016, Havamal blends Viking, black, power, and death metal with powerful orchestrations and theatrical live performances. This single follows their 2021 release The Shadow Chapter, continuing their tradition of epic Norse mythology storytelling. The band describes Age of the Gods as a symphonic and aggressive evolution, capturing the essence of Viking battles and the wrath of the Nine Worlds.
