French multi-instrumentalist and producer Gautier Serre, known as Igorrr, has revealed details of his fifth album, Amen, slated for release on September 19, 2025, via Metal Blade Records. Marking 20 years of his boundary-pushing career, the unclassifiable album promises a darker, more solemn vibe, featuring guest appearances from Scott Ian (Anthrax), Trey Spruance (Mr. Bungle), and Mike Leon (Soulfly). Pre-orders are available now in various formats, including a limited Box Set (2-LP sawblade shape picture vinyl, action figure, coloring book, slipmat, greeting card, ltd. 1000), Digipak/Jewelcase CD, multiple vinyl options, and more.

Today, Igorrr shared the video for the new single Infestis.

Described by Gautier as an exploration of “severe matters” with “black metal influences, traditional Tibetan instruments, and excessive distortion,” the track delves into feelings of possession by a “bad spirit” with no escape.

ALBUM ARTWORK: Adrian Baxter

The Amen tracklist includes:

  1. Daemoni
  2. Headbutt
  3. Limbo
  4. Blastbeat Falafel
  5. ADHD
  6. 2020
  7. Mustard Mucous
  8. Infestis
  9. Ancient Sun
  10. Pure Disproportionate Black and White Nihilism
  11. Étude n°120
  12. Silence

Gautier highlights the album’s depth, noting the use of a real choir recorded in a church and meticulous sound design, balanced by lighter tracks like Blastbeat Falafel and ADHD for contrast. Since signing with Metal Blade in 2017, Igorrr has evolved from a solo project to a group identity, with Gautier as its creative core. His influences span Bach and Chopin to Cannibal Corpse and Meshuggah, reflecting a cumulative inspiration drawn from life’s minutiae.

Igorrr will tour Europe this fall with Master Boot Record and Imperial Triumphant, with U.S. dates planned for 2026. The lineup features Gautier Serre (machines), Jb Le Bail (vocals), Marthe Alexandre (vocals), Remi Serafino (drums), and Martyn Clément (guitars).
