Franco-Spanish extreme metal band Impureza has unveiled a full album stream for their third full-length, Alcázares, set for release on July 11, 2025, via Season of Mist. The stream is available on the Season of Mist YouTube channel:
Formed in 2005, Impureza comprises Lionel Cano Muñoz (vocals), Esteban Martín (vocals, flamenco guitar), Olivier Gabriel (guitar), Florian Saupin (guitar), Paul Marandet (bass), and Gaël Féret (drums). Known for their unique blend of guttural death metal, flamenco guitar, and Spanish-language vocals, Alcázares marks their return after 2019’s La Iglesia del Odio.
Conceptually rooted in the Spanish Reconquista (722–1492), Alcázares is an 11-track epic exploring the collapse of Islamic Iberia and the rise of Christian dominion. Tracks like Reconquistar Al-Ándalus and Castigos Eclesiásticos depict the spiritual and physical violence of holy war, while instrumentals Verdiales and Murallas provide meditative interludes. The album, recorded and mixed by Sébastien Camhi at Studio Artmusic in France and mastered by Jacob Hansen in Denmark, features guest percussion by Xavier Hamon and orchestration by Louis Viallet.

The tracklist includes:
- Verdiales (1:15)
- Bajo las Tizonas de Toledo (6:25)
- Covadonga (4:01)
- Pestilencia (4:44)
- Reconquistar Al-Ándalus (5:25)
- Murallas (2:24)
- La Orden del Yelmo Negro (4:57)
- Castigos Eclesiásticos (6:06)
