New Jersey/Washington DC-based death metal band Kontusion, formed prior to 2022, has announced their debut album Insatiable Lust For Death, released on July 25, 2025, via Profound Lore Records. The ten-track LP, is streaming now on YouTube
Led by drummer Chris Moore (Repulsion) and vocalist/guitarist Mark Bronzino (ex-Iron Reagan, Mammoth Grinder), with additional musicians for live performances, Kontusion crafts relentless riffs and tight percussion, drawing from influences like Autopsy and Incantation. Recorded by Chris Pierce at Volume IV Studios, with additional tracking at Damaged City Studios, the album was mixed by Kevin Bernsten at Developing Nations, mastered by Nick Townsend at Townsend Mastering, and features artwork by Rotting Reign.
