US death metal legends MONSTROSITY have announced the release of their long-awaited new full-length, Screams from Beneath the Surface, arriving March 13 via Metal Blade Records. Marking the band’s first album in seven years, the record reasserts MONSTROSITY’s position as one of death metal’s most punishing and uncompromising forces.
Led by drummer, founder, and primary songwriter Lee Harrison, the band resurfaces with a revitalized lineup featuring longtime guitarist Matt Barnes, the return of original bassist Mark Van Erp, and vocalist Ed Webb (ex-Massacre), whose savage delivery injects fresh ferocity into the band’s already lethal sound. Across ten tracks, Screams from Beneath the Surface balances MONSTROSITY’s trademark aggression and technical precision with renewed intensity and forward momentum.
The first single, “The Colossal Rage”, offers a direct and brutal introduction. Built on crushing riffs, relentless drumming, and Webb’s towering vocal performance, the track wastes no time flattening the listener. Van Erp’s punishing bass work and Barnes’ sharp lead guitar elevate the song’s raw power, while Harrison’s songwriting keeps the assault focused and merciless. The accompanying video, directed by Thomas Crane (Kill Devil Films), amplifies the track’s unrelenting force.
Produced across multiple legendary studios, the album was recorded and mixed at Audiohammer Studios with Jason Suecof, while guitars, vocals, and mastering took place at Morrisound Studios alongside Jim Morris, Mark Prator, and BJ Ramone. The result is a massive, modern production that still honors MONSTROSITY’s storied legacy. The album artwork, created by Timbul Cahyono, remains entirely organic, reinforcing the band’s commitment to authenticity.
With standout tracks like “Banished to the Skies”, “The Atrophied”, and “The Dark Aura”, Screams from Beneath the Surface proves MONSTROSITY are not only preserving their legacy, but expanding it, delivering death metal that is as devastating as it is timeless.

Screams from Beneath the Surface is available for pre-order now via Metal Blade Records.
