Death metal outfit MORGUED have unleashed their debut full-length album, Ordnance Obscenum, available now via Iron Fortress Records.
Across nine tracks, Ordnance Obscenum merges death metal extremity with dystopian science fiction, constructing a hostile universe consumed by authoritarian regimes, alien battlefields, poisoned worlds, cybernetic experimentation, and relentless exploitation.
Set against the backdrop of civilizations locked in perpetual conflict, the album explores planetary warfare and the horrors that emerge when technological advancement, military power, and megalomaniacal ambition collide.
Previously released singles “Special Planetary Operations,” “Terror Troops,” and “Trenchfoot Gourmet” offered early glimpses into MORGUED’s violent intergalactic vision. The tracks venture through large-scale planetary warfare, battlefield terror, and grotesque frontline cannibalism, establishing the merciless atmosphere that carries throughout the record.
Ordnance Obscenum was recorded and mixed by Chris Leamy and mastered by Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studios.
