Greek symphonic metal ensemble MYSTFALL will release their new album, Embers Of A Dying World, on March 20 through Scarlet Records. The record marks the band’s second full-length release and continues to expand their cinematic and emotionally charged vision of modern symphonic metal.
Led by the commanding soprano voice of Marialena Trikoglou, Embers Of A Dying World draws the listener into a dark, dreamlike dimension where beauty and devastation coexist. The album unfolds as a journey through atmospheric soundscapes shaped by orchestration, heavy guitars, and haunting melodies, blurring the line between fantasy and reality.
Conceptually, the album explores the consequences of humanity’s actions on Earth. Each track tells an untold story, questioning what will remain if destruction continues unchecked, how survival is possible in the aftermath, and whether hope can still exist for future generations. Dreams and nightmares collide throughout the album as metaphors for the struggle to preserve the human spirit in a collapsing world.
Embers Of A Dying World was produced, mixed, and mastered by Dionisis Christodoulatos of Sorrowful Angels at CFN Recordings Studios. The album artwork was created by Giannis Nakos of Remedy Art Design, known for his work with Kamelot, Amaranthe, and Evergrey, visually capturing the album’s epic and foreboding atmosphere.
The album will be released in digipak CD and digital formats.
