Houston heavy metal band NIGHT COBRA have announced their sophomore full-length, Beware the Dark Future, due November 6 via Nameless Graves Records. The band have also unleashed the album’s first single, “Keepers Of The Cult,” currently available exclusively through YouTube.
Following their 2022 debut on High Roller Records, NIGHT COBRA return with eight new tracks steeped in traditional heavy metal, drawing from the spirit of Mercyful Fate, early ’80s Judas Priest, In Solitude, and Sumerlands.
Frontman Christian “Bakka” Larson comments:
“As the world crumbles we give you an offering of apocalyptic heavy metal. This album is for those without hope and know that humanity has no future….”
Beware the Dark Future was recorded at Southwing Audio and Shadow Wind Studios and mixed by Mike Exeter, whose credits include Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and Ozzy Osbourne. Peter Hewitt-Dutton handled mastering at The Bakery, while Calvin Cushman created the album artwork.
The record also features guest vocals from HELSTAR’s James Rivera on “Cry For Blood” and the eight-minute closing track “Starlight.”
