BLACK SABBATH guitarist TONY IOMMI has released “Stormwatcher,” the second single from his forthcoming solo album, From The Dark, due October 23.
The new track features vocalist Jørn Lande alongside bassist Becky Baldwin and drummer Karl Brazil. “Stormwatcher” arrives with an animated music video built around the song’s maritime themes.
Lande, who shares writing credits across From The Dark, describes the track as a reflection on navigating uncertainty and continuing forward through difficult circumstances.
“It channels something from within, something real,” Lande says. “We are the captain of our own vessel, a ship crashing through unknown and sometimes challenging waters, always navigating forward, steering steady through every storm, driven by dreams of new horizons and longing for something new.”
From The Dark was co-produced by IOMMI and longtime collaborator Mike Exeter. The album features eight tracks on its standard edition, while the deluxe CD adds “Scent Of Dark” and “Deified” as bonus tracks.
The record continues IOMMI’s solo work outside BLACK SABBATH and follows the previously released material leading into the album’s October arrival.
