Australian deathcore band TO THE GRAVE have released their fifth studio album, Liberation Front, out now via BLKIIBLK. Coinciding with the album’s arrival, the band have also unveiled a music video for their latest single, “Limb From Lamb.”
Bassist Matt Clarke describes “Limb From Lamb” as one of the songs that changed the most during the recording process, ultimately coming together through vocalist Dane Evans’ lyric arrangement and delivery.
“‘Limb From Lamb’ was the song that probably changed the most in the recording process. Until it was done, I wasn’t sure it would even make the cut for the album. It really took Dane’s lyric arrangement and vocal delivery to make it shine. It’s a bit of a change of pace from the previous singles, this one is slow (for us), brooding and heavy.”
The accompanying video embraces horror-film imagery, connecting the band’s longstanding visual influences with the real-world subjects addressed throughout their music.
Formed in 2010, TO THE GRAVE have built their identity around punishing deathcore and outspoken advocacy against animal cruelty and environmental destruction. Their catalog includes Global Warning, Epilogue, Director’s Cuts, and 2024’s Everyone’s a Murderer.
Liberation Front marks the band’s BLKIIBLK debut and a deliberate return toward their deathcore roots following the stronger hardcore influence of recent material. According to Evans, the concept originated while touring Australia last year, when the band decided to create a follow-up to Director’s Cuts.
“‘Liberation Front’ was born as a concept on tour last year in Australia after we decided we wanted to make the sequel to Director’s Cuts. What came out was something between that and a more pissed off brother to Everyone’s A Murderer.”
Across ten tracks, the album continues TO THE GRAVE’s focus on animal liberation and environmental activism, addressing themes including direct action, open rescue, and abolition.

TO THE GRAVE are currently touring North America on The Sawed Off Suffering Tour, co-headlining with Crown Magnetar and joined by Face Yourself. Select dates also feature I Declare War, Tracheotomy, Backbiter, Squelching, and Ameonna.
The remaining run includes Florida stops in Jacksonville on October 3 and West Palm Beach at The Banyan Live on October 4 before continuing through Texas, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Colorado.
