Italian progressive power metal band NOVERIA have released the official video for “Echoes From The Abyss,” the third single from their upcoming fifth studio album, Becoming After, due August 21 via Scarlet Records.
“Echoes From The Abyss” explores fear, darkness and the unknown through a theatrical journey into the subconscious. Pairing haunting atmospheres with crushing modern metal riffs, the track centers on confronting the void not to be consumed by it, but to understand it.
Becoming After sees Noveria expanding their established combination of progressive and power metal with heavier, darker and more cinematic elements. Massive choruses, technical musicianship and aggressive riffs are balanced by orchestral arrangements and more vulnerable, emotional passages.
The album was produced, mixed and mastered by guitarist Francesco Mattei at Underworld Studio. It also features several notable guests, including legendary pianist and composer Mike Moran, known for his work with Freddie Mercury and Ozzy Osbourne, on “Through Your Light.” Mistheria, whose credits include Bruce Dickinson and Vivaldi Metal Project, contributes keyboards to “Cold Flames.”
Real string arrangements and performances feature violinist Abigail Stahlschmidt and cellist Luca Basile, while the album’s artwork was created by Paolo Conte and Bianca Gambrioli.
“Echoes From The Abyss” follows previously released singles “Convicted To Rise” and “The Viper’s Nest.”
NOVERIA are also scheduled to perform at ProgPower USA 2026.
