Italian progressive power metal band NOVERIA have released the official music video for “Convicted To Rise”, the first single from their upcoming fifth studio album, Becoming After, due out on August 21 via Scarlet Records.
The new single serves as a powerful anthem of rebirth, self-discovery, and overcoming inner darkness. Combining soaring melodies, crushing riffs, and a cinematic atmosphere, “Convicted To Rise” follows the journey of breaking free from fear, self-doubt, and emotional numbness in pursuit of one’s true identity.

Produced, mixed, and mastered by Francesco Mattei at Underworld Studio, Becoming After continues NOVERIA’s evolution, blending progressive power metal with modern heaviness, orchestral arrangements, and technical musicianship. The album features legendary pianist and composer Mike Moran—known for his work with Freddie Mercury and Ozzy Osbourne—on “Through Your Light”, while keyboard virtuoso Mistheria (Bruce Dickinson, Vivaldi Metal Project) appears on “Cold Flames”.
The record also includes full string arrangements and performances by violinist Abigail Stahlschmidt (Jim Peterik, Chris Caffery) and cellist Luca Basile. Album artwork was created by Paolo Conte and Bianca Gambrioli.
According to the band, Becoming After explores darker and more emotional territory while maintaining the signature blend of progressive songwriting, grand atmospheres, and powerful hooks that has defined NOVERIA’s sound. Massive choruses, crushing riffs, cinematic orchestration, and deeply personal themes combine to create what the band describes as their most fearless release to date.
