Las Vegas blackened deathcore band Ov Sulfur has unveiled their new single “Wither”, an emotionally charged and stylistically daring track that marks the band’s first-ever song to feature only clean singing. The single arrives ahead of their highly anticipated sophomore album Endless, due January 16, 2026 on Century Media Records.
A deeply personal song dedicated to the grandparents of Ricky Hoover and Chase Wilson, “Wither” finds the duo sharing lead vocal duties as they reflect on loss, memory, and love.
Chase Wilson comments:
“We know ‘Wither’ is different, but we had to honor our families. My grandfather always dreamed of being on a record—he’s the voice clip at the end of the song. It’s bittersweet we could make that happen for him after his passing.”
Ricky Hoover adds:
“My grandmother was the glue that held my family together. She always wanted me to sing more, so I did. Recording this was painful but healing—I wish she could hear it.”
