Oklahoma brutal death metal/slam band PEELING FLESH will release their sophomore full-length, Peeling Flesh, on November 27 via Unique Leader Records. The band have offered the first taste of the record with “Murderous Intent,” featuring Mike Ryan of Missing Link, alongside an official music video.
The self-titled album follows the band’s 2024 debut, The G Code, and last year’s PF Radio 2 EP. According to vocalist Damonteal Harris, the group spent the past year developing what they consider some of their wildest material yet.
“This has been our baby for the last year,” Harris says. “An insane mixture of drop G and Drop F songs that are some of our favorite and craziest songs we’ve written to date and we’re extremely stoked to get them out finally.”
Describing the first single, Harris calls “Murderous Intent” simply “ruthless and vicious,” adding that the collaboration with Missing Link’s Mike Ryan solidifies the band’s “Oklahoma/New York connection.”
Across its 11 tracks, Peeling Flesh features several additional guests. Sanguisugabogg vocalist Devin Swank appears on “Wig Split,” JayWay joins “Lethal Interjection,” Stabbing’s Bridget Lynch guests on “No Alibi,” and Extermination Dismemberment appear on “It’s Goin Down Part 2.”

Before the album arrives, PEELING FLESH will embark on an extensive U.S. headlining tour throughout October. The rotating support lineup includes Grounds For Assault, Snuffed On Sight, Mongrel, Flesh, Gridiron, Outta Pocket, Fatal Realm, Final Resting Place and Two-Piece.
The run kicks off October 1 in Los Angeles and stretches across the country before wrapping October 30 in Jacksonville, Florida. Festival appearances include Aftershock in Sacramento, a Red Rocks date in Denver and Sick New World in Fort Worth.
Florida fans will have several opportunities to catch the band toward the end of the tour, with stops in Pensacola on October 27, Tampa on October 28, West Palm Beach on October 29 and Jacksonville on October 30.
Formed in 2021, PEELING FLESH have built their sound around a combination of slam, brutal death metal, hardcore and hip-hop influences. Their rise has included tours with Lorna Shore, The Black Dahlia Murder and Sanguisugabogg, along with collaborations extending beyond traditional extreme metal circles.
