Indiana death metal band PROTRUSION will unleash their long-awaited debut full-length, The Last Suppuration, on March 13, 2026. Featuring members of Gorgasm, Sarcophagy, Human Filleted, and Found Hanging.
Following their 2023 demo, The Last Suppuration represents PROTRUSION’s fully realized vision: dense, cavernous, and relentlessly oppressive. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Tony Tipton (Regurgitation), the album channels the fetid atmosphere and crushing weight of classic Morrisound-era death metal, with every riff, and subterranean vocal dripping in pestilent force.
The album’s first single, “Boiled at Birth”, offers a foul introduction.
The song showcases PROTRUSION’s ability to fuse haunting atmosphere with unrelenting savagery.
With artwork by notorious death metal artist Jon Zig and logo design by John Elston, The Last Suppuration stands as an uncompromising debut, death metal in its most malignant and unholy form.
Cassette pre-orders begin February 20th, with the album releasing on cassette via Iron Fortress Records (US) and Unholy Domain (international), CD via Sevared Records, and vinyl details to be announced.
