Scardust Share New Single Touch Of Life I – In Your Eyes (Feat. Ross Jennings) with Live Music Video

Israeli progressive symphonic metal band Scardust have released their new single, Touch Of Life I – In Your Eyes (Feat. Ross Jennings), from their upcoming album Souls, set for release on July 18, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl. The single, accompanied by a live performance video of the full three-part Touch of Life saga.

The band describes Touch Of Life as a three-part trilogy reimagining the Pygmalion myth, serving as an allegory for an artist’s journey to self-improvement. The story follows a sculptor who, unable to find a worthy muse, creates his ideal woman, falls in love with her, and begs the gods to bring her to life—where Scardust’s narrative diverges into a new direction. They note, “As musical performers, we see ourselves as both the sculptor and the sculpture—constantly shaping ourselves in pursuit of unreachable standards, a process full of beauty but also emotional weight.” The live video features guest vocalist Ross Jennings (Haken), who also performed on the studio version.

Scardust, formed in Israel, includes Noa Gruman (vocals), Gal Gabriel Israel (guitar), Aaron Friedland (keyboards), Orr Didi (bass), and Yoav Weinberg (drums). Since their 2015 EP Shadow and debut LP Sands of Time (2017), they’ve risen as a leading force in progressive metal, selling out shows and touring with acts like Symphony X and Epica. Their 2020 album Strangers earned acclaim, while 2022 collaborations with Patty Gurdy and performances at Wacken Open Air solidified their global presence. The 2023 signing with Frontiers Records paved the way for Souls.

The band calls Souls “a deep personal journey,” blending intricate progressive elements, symphonic passages, and epic choirs, featuring the Hellscore choir, a string quartet, and guests like Jennings and Ally Storch (Subway to Sally), alongside Turkish and TLV orchestras. Thematically, it explores memory, belonging, loss, and connection, incorporating orchestral, Mediterranean, and Celtic influences.
