German melodic black metal band SERVANT have announced their fourth studio album, Lux Ex Inferis, set for release on October 2 via AOP Records. Alongside the announcement, the band has unveiled the first single from the record, “Tabula Rasa,” featuring guest vocals from P.G. of GROZA.
Since forming in 2021, SERVANT have built a reputation for their melodic yet aggressive approach to black metal. Following their debut album Blessed by the Light of a Thousand Stars (2021), Aetas Ascensus (2023), and the critically acclaimed Death Devil Magick (2024), the band have continued to develop a sound that combines atmospheric depth, intensity, and traditional black metal elements with a modern perspective.
With Lux Ex Inferis, SERVANT further expand their sonic identity through epic arrangements, haunting melodies, and layered compositions. The album balances the band’s established melodic black metal foundation with new dimensions of atmosphere and grandeur, creating a dark and immersive listening experience.
The release of “Tabula Rasa” introduces the next chapter of the band’s evolution, featuring the additional vocal presence of P.G. from GROZA. The track arrives alongside a new music video released through AOP Records’ official YouTube channel.
