Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based deathcore band Signs of the Swarm, formed in 2014, has announced their sixth album To Rid Myself of Truth, set for release on August 22, 2025, via Century Media Records. The title track and lead single To Rid Myself of Truth, accompanied by a music video directed by Eric DiCarlo of SquareUp Studios, showcases crushing breakdowns and visceral intensity, with vocalist David Simonich citing inspiration from the Nosferatu movie: “The shrieks of two, the screams of one, the cries of none.” Drummer Bobby Crow adds, “I wanted some straight up knuckle-dragging, slack-jaw shit… a great way to open the album.”

Produced by Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore, Mental Cruelty), the album features guest vocalists Will Ramos (Lorna Shore), Phil Bozeman (Whitechapel), Jack Murray (156/Silence), and Johnny Crowder (Prison). The quartet—David Simonich (vocals), Carl Schulz (guitars), Michael Cassese (bass), and Bobby Crow (drums)—blends industrial and metalcore influences with their deathcore roots, drawing from Meshuggah and Gojira.
