Shame, a deeply personal track for Skin, explores the pain and isolation of familial misunderstanding, dedicated to outcasts finding new supportive communities. The Painful Truth, produced by David Sitek (TV on the Radio), features 10 tracks:

  1. An Artist Is An Artist
  2. This Is Not Your Life
  3. Shame
  4. Lost And Found
  5. Cheers
  6. Shoulda Been You
  7. Animal
  8. Fell In Love With A Girl
  9. My Greatest Moment
  10. Meltdown

The album, praised for its raw, experimental sound and emotional depth, has earned accolades from MOJO (“bleak, sonically rich beauty”), Classic Rock (“musically ambitious”), Metal Hammer (“vital and inventive”), and Kerrang! (“eye-openingly fresh”). Skin describes it as their greatest record yet, reflecting the band’s evolution and vitality.
