Florida’s underground metal stronghold Tampa Death Fest has officially opened band submissions for its 2026 edition, marking eight years of championing some of the most brutal and uncompromising acts in extreme music.
Set to take place over two nights—September 5 and 6—at the legendary The Brass Mug in Tampa Bay, the festival continues its mission of bringing together the global extreme metal community under one roof.
Organizers are currently accepting submissions to fill the remaining slots on the 2026 lineup, with a deadline of April 1. Bands from all corners of the extreme metal spectrum are encouraged to apply, as TDF remains committed to curating a diverse and international roster that reflects the genre’s depth and evolution.
