Metalcore American band The Acacia Strain, formed in 2001 in Chicopee has released the music video for their single A Call Beyond from their upcoming eighth album, You Are Safe From God Here, due out October 24, 2025, via Rise Records. The video, directed by Matt Guglielmo and Eric Richter, is available on YouTube, and the track can be streamed at theacaciastrain.lnk.to/ACALLBEYOND.
The band describes the song as an “uncomfortable” introduction to the album’s angry and sad tone, blending sludge, doom, and death metal with their hardcore roots, praised by Revolver for its “bone-shattering” intensity. The lineup includes Vincent Bennett (vocals), Devin Shidaker (lead guitar), Griffin Landa (bass), Mike Mulholland (guitar), and Matt Guglielmo (drums). The Acacia Strain is touring this summer, with dates through August 23, 2025, in Worcester, MA.
