THE GREEN GOBLINS Announce Self-Titled Debut Album, Arriving October 2 via Metalville

Swiss Celtic folk ‘n’ roll band THE GREEN GOBLINS have announced the release of their self-titled debut album, The Green Goblins, arriving October 2 through Metalville.

Formed in 2017 in the Switzerland–Germany–France border region, THE GREEN GOBLINS began as a street music trio featuring guitar, violin, and bagpipes. Their energetic performances and fusion of traditional Irish folk with modern rock influences quickly earned them a reputation across the region before taking their music from the streets to pubs, festivals, medieval markets, and concert halls.

Over the years, the band’s sound has expanded to include electric violin, bass, and drums, creating what they describe as “Celtic Folk ’n’ Roll.” Their evolving style blends traditional Celtic melodies with contemporary rock arrangements, delivering high-energy performances that have become their trademark.

Following the release of their debut EP Arandore and several standalone singles, including “Roll On,” the band has continued to refine its sound while performing up to 50 concerts annually throughout Switzerland, Germany, and the Alsace region of France.

Now, THE GREEN GOBLINS are set to take the next step with their first full-length album. The self-titled release features twelve tracks showcasing the band’s mix of folk-inspired storytelling, singalong choruses, and rock-driven instrumentation.
