New York City’s doom metal newcomers The Pale Hand are set to release their debut single, “Reign in Hell,” on June 5, 2025, across all digital platforms. The track, a fuzz-laden homage to old-school heavy metal, features thunderous riffs, a high-energy and groove. The Pale Hand amplifies with vicious guitars, powerhouse vocals, and booming bass.

Formed by members from diverse cultural backgrounds—Kelsea Beck (vocals), Pamir Aysan (guitar), Diego Silva (guitar), Finnegan Hu (bass), and Brian Del Guercio (drums)—The Pale Hand has quickly made waves in NYC’s underground scene, sharing stages with Castle Rat and Testament’s Alex Skolnick. Their live shows are theatrical, blending gospel and Middle Eastern influences with metal, featuring vampire pastor rituals and interactive elements that probe the nature of evil, framing sinners as saints and corruption as the true foe. The Eel Pit praises their “scandalous sound, performance, and visuals” for transcending traditional doom.

The band will perform at INFERNO: A Celebration of Hexennacht, on May 16 at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, alongside Tower and Holy Wisdom LLC. For those into Electric Wizard or Windhand, “Reign in Hell” promises a dark, psychedelic descent. Stream it next month!
