Portland, Oregon-based epic heavy metal newcomers UNCHAINED VENGEANCE have released “Warrior Heart,” the second single from their upcoming debut album, Unbound and Unforgiving, arriving October 30, 2026, via Nameless Grave Records.
Combining soaring vocals, galloping rhythms, thunderous riffs, and heroic melodies, “Warrior Heart” captures the spirit of traditional heavy metal while drawing inspiration from fantasy, mythology, and tales of courage.
Guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Nick Wusz comments on the song:
“Look deep inside yourself, into the depths of forgotten dreams, and battles past…that is where you will find your heart. From Birth, through Present Day, and into the Future, you will walk alone, unafraid, knowing that you hold the ultimate key to everlasting hope….your WARRIOR HEART will never dim!”

A New Force in Epic Heavy Metal
UNCHAINED VENGEANCE brings together vocalist Nick Courtney, formerly of VICIOUS RUMORS and IRON MAIDEN tribute act FEAR OF THE DARK, and multi-instrumentalist Nick Wusz, known for his work with DOLVEN and TRAVELLERS REST.
Their debut album, Unbound and Unforgiving, delivers ten tracks rooted in classic heavy metal traditions, blending powerful guitar work and commanding vocals with atmospheric passages and fantasy-inspired storytelling.
Drawing comparisons to HAMMERFALL, DOOMSWORD, CRESCENT SHIELD, and IRON MAIDEN, the record explores themes of honor, betrayal, vengeance, and redemption.
Songs such as “The Whisper of Sorrowsbane” examine the bond between a warrior and their weapon, while “False Knight” confronts dishonorable champions. “Only Ruins Remain” tells the story of returning to a homeland devastated by conflict.
The album also features four instrumental interludes performed by dungeon synth musician Fen Walker, adding atmospheric depth to the record’s epic compositions.
Recorded at Cirrus Studios in Portland, Oregon, with vocals tracked at Perfect Audio in Vancouver, Washington, Unbound and Unforgiving was mixed and mastered by Pooya Entezari.
The album’s artwork was created by Silvana Massa, with the band’s logo designed by Brendan Elliott.
