German epic power metal band Aeon Gods have released a new official video for “Soldiers Of Re”, the second single taken from their upcoming album Reborn To Light, out February 20 via Scarlet Records.
“Soldiers Of Re” captures one of the album’s most dramatic mythological moments: the sun-god Re’s nightly descent into the underworld and his climactic battle against Apophis, the cosmic serpent of chaos. As Re’s barque enters the deepest shadows, the fate of creation itself hangs in the balance. The song stands as a thunderous battle anthem — a hymn of resistance, loyalty, and the eternal triumph of light over darkness.
With Reborn To Light, Aeon Gods open a new chapter in their myth-driven metal universe, drawing heavily from ancient Egyptian mythology. The album blends power metal ferocity with orchestral and cinematic elements, delivering fast, commanding anthems, sweeping battle hymns, dark atmospheric passages, and moments of emotional depth. The central concept follows Re’s solar cycle through the underworld, while additional foundational myths broaden the record’s narrative scope and deepen its thematic weight.
The album was mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio (Wind Rose, Twilight Force) and features striking cover artwork by Peter Sallai (Sabaton, Hammer King). Reborn To Light will be released on digipack CD, vinyl LP, and digital formats. In support of the album, Aeon Gods will join Victorius on the April/May 2026 Tour Of The Strong across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
