New Jersey/Washington DC-based death metal band Kontusion, featuring drummer Chris Moore (Repulsion) and vocalist/guitarist Mark Bronzino (ex-Iron Reagan, Mammoth Grinder), have dropped their new single and video for Subjugation, taken from their debut album Insatiable Lust For Death, set for release on July 25, 2025, via Profound Lore Records. The video, blending a collage archive concept by Faiza Kracheni with live footage shot and edited by Pluteras Records, is available to watch online, while the track streams on all platforms.

Reflecting a world marred by chaos and atrocities, Subjugation marks Kontusion’s first BPM drop, delivering a crushing riff amidst heavy tempos and frantic beats, with lyrics agonizing over humanity’s history of domination, as Bronzino explains: “Brutality is not only a reality, but the point.” Recorded by Chris Pierce at Volume IV Studios with additional tracking at Damaged City Studios, mixed by Kevin Bernsten at Developing Nations, and mastered by Nick Townsend at Townsend Mastering, the album features artwork by Rotting Reign and layout by Aaren Molder.

The 10-track LP includes:

  1. Endless Horror
  2. Countless Atrocities
  3. Revenge
  4. Hemorrhage
  5. Throne of Skulls
  6. Incarnate
  7. Subjugation
  8. Melting
  9. Horrid Eye
  10. No Escape

With a demo and extensive US tours (East/West Coasts, Midwest, Texas) under their belt, including support for Deceased and appearances at Maryland Deathfest, Kontusion now unleashes a debut. Pre-orders, including the prior single Throne of Skulls, are available on LP, CD, and digital formats.
