Lord of the Lost Release Official Video for Ghosts (ft. Tina Guo) from OPVS NOIR Vol. 1

German dark wave metal band Lord of the Lost have unveiled the official music video for their new single, Ghosts (feat. Tina Guo), released today, July 1, via Napalm Records. The track, featuring the renowned cellist Tina Guo, is the third single from their upcoming album OPVS NOIR Vol. 1, set for release on August 8, 2025.

Produced, directed, and edited by VDPictures, the video was filmed in February 2025 at EXVOLI Studios in Lübeck, with support from a talented crew including on-set assistant Lennard Schmitt, lighting designers Saskia Tietz, Josef Runge, Max Böck, and Anton Mireisz, and hair/makeup artist Jessica Mathies. The song, blending music and lyrics by Tina Guo, Chris Harms, and Benjamin Mundigler, was produced by Harms, co-produced by Corvin Bahn and Mundigler, and recorded at Chameleon Studios, The Lost Place, and Sto’Vo’Kor Studios, among other locations worldwide. Mixing and mastering were handled by Bengt Jaeschke and Benjamin Lawrenz at Chameleon Studios.

Tina Guo about the collaboration:

“Working with LORD OF THE LOST on ‘Ghosts’ has been an incredibly inspiring and fun experience. The entire creative process flowed beautifully, and it was a true joy to create art with such talented and wonderful individuals. I especially loved the cello battling with Chris! Their passion and vision made every moment memorable, and filming the music video together created an unforgettable energy and synergy.”

Chris Harms adds:

“Tina Guo is not only a phenomenal cellist, but also one of the most wonderful and inspiring people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting in the music industry. Performing this song with her—and even playing the cello together—was incredible, both in the studio and during the video shoot. But I can’t wait to have her on stage with us live someday!”

Ghosts continues the band’s exploration of darkness as a life force, following singles My Sanctuary and I Will Die In It, and is part of the first installment of a trilogy that marks their return to a heavier, melancholic sound as a six-piece band. The album features collaborations with artists like Within Temptation and Feuerschwanz, promising a grand, theatrical experience.
