Italian symphonic power metal band Moonlight Haze have unveiled the official video for “Interstellar Madness,” the title track from their upcoming EP arriving May 22 via Scarlet Records.
Watch “Interstellar Madness”:
According to vocalist Chiara Tricarico, the song represents “a whirlwind of emotions” driven by some of the band’s most epic melodies to date, blending expansive instrumental passages with evocative choir arrangements. Lyrically, the track explores emotional surrender, self-discovery, and the artistic process that emerges when rationality is temporarily abandoned in favor of deeper introspection.
The video was directed by Marco Falanga and Beatrice Demori of Oround, with Demori also responsible for the EP’s cover artwork.
Produced by Sascha Paeth — known for his work with Avantasia, Angra, Kamelot, and Edguy — Interstellar Madness was mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio.
The EP follows the continued rise of Moonlight Haze, who have amassed over 10 million streams across Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, and Amazon Music, along with more than 5 million YouTube views.
Frontwoman Chiara Tricarico has also gained international recognition through her work as a live vocalist for Avantasia and her guest appearance on Manowar’s 2022 EP Highlights From The Revenge Of Odysseus.
Drawing inspiration from acts like Stratovarius, Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Within Temptation, and Angra, the band continue refining a theatrical and emotionally immersive sound.
