Psycho-Frame Drops “Blueprints for Idol Genocide” from Debut Album

Deathcore band Psycho-Frame released their new single “Blueprints for Idol Genocide” on May 21, 2025, from their debut album Salvation Laughs in the Face of a Grieving Mother, set to drop on July 25, 2025, via SharpTone Records. The track, accompanied by a music video directed by Salem Vex, delivers djent-infused rhythms, crushing bass drops, and guttural vocals. Vocalist Michael Sugars describes the song as a critique of “bad actors in the community,” opting to distance himself while “letting God sort ’em out.” Guitarist/vocalist Hunter Young adds that the album’s theme confronts the harsh reality that “no one is coming to save you,” reflecting a bleak, self-reliant worldview.

The 11-track record, engineered by Brandan Lopez and Hunter Young at Digital Ghost Audio with re-amping by Randy LeBoeuf, features songs like “The Portal,” “Endless Agonal Devotion,” and “God Is Busy.” Formed by members of Moodring and Vatican, Psycho-Frame—Michael Sugars (vocals), Hunter Young (guitar/vocals), Aiden ‘Dave’ Bessent (guitar), Jordan Crain (guitar), Colter Cuthbertson (vocals), and Leo McClain (drums)—blends classic American death metal influences with modern chaos. Pre-order the album, available in limited vinyl, CD, and cassette formats, at bfan.link/blueprints-for-idol-genocide.
