A Dual Statement of Power and Tradition
“The Men” opens with traditional Mongolian strings before unfolding into a groove-heavy, chant-driven anthem, blending hypnotic vocals with crushing riffs. The track reflects the band’s deep cultural roots while delivering the cinematic energy fans have come to expect.
Frontman Galaa explains:
“‘The Men’ is written based on Mongolian philosophy of ‘Man’s Inner Spirit’ or ‘Хийморь’… This song encapsulates that ancient wisdom and shares it with the world—focusing on strength, kindness, and positivity.”
Meanwhile, “Warrior Chant” lives up to its name with a driving rhythm and unmistakable sonic identity, amplifying the band’s signature use of traditional instruments like the horsehead fiddle alongside modern metal intensity.
Galaa adds:
“‘Warrior Chant’ has our signature rhythm that fans fell in love with… we focused on horsehead fiddle solos by imitating the horse gait—you can feel that rhythm throughout the song.”
Together, the two tracks offer a dynamic preview of the band’s next chapter, hinting at a forthcoming album that continues to push the boundaries of the Hunnu rock genre.
Expanding Their Global Reach
The release follows The Hu’s recent appearance on “Pray to the Sun” from the One Piece Netflix series, further cementing their connection with global pop culture. The band has also previously reached massive audiences through placements like “Sugaan Essena” in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Their latest single “The Real You” continues to showcase a broader sonic palette, incorporating more Western influences while staying rooted in their identity.
2026 Tour: From Theaters to Massive Amphitheaters
The Hu will hit the road this spring alongside Apocalyptica and The Rasmus, bringing their electrifying live show across North America.
Later in the year, the band will join a massive tour featuring Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, and Orgy, followed by an extensive UK and European run with Skáld.

The HU’s Ongoing Evolution
Blending ancient tradition with modern heaviness, The Hu have carved out a unique space in global music, one where throat singing, traditional instruments, and metal coexist seamlessly. With “The Men” and “Warrior Chant”, the band continues to push that vision forward, offering fans both a return to their roots and a glimpse into the future.
As their next album approaches, one thing is certain: The Hu’s rise shows no signs of slowing down.
